Established 1928

UPDATED ON 25 March 2020:

In this rapidly changing environment we have taken the decision that WE WILL CONTINUE to hold the next Toys & Models auction as planned on:

Monday 6 April at 10.30am

HOWEVER THE MILITARIA AUCTION WILL BE POSTPONED UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE. We will update you on our situation as soon as we possibly can.

Due to the Coronavirus outbreak there will be NO VIEWING for future auctions. We are very happy to continue to email further images and condition reports to you when we can. Please do get in contact with us.

UNFORTUNATELY WE WILL ALSO NOT BE OPEN FOR BUYERS TO BID IN THE ROOM IN PERSON ON AUCTION DAYS. HOWEVER we will still ensure that there are a number of other ways for you to place your bids. As always, bidding will be available live online (via or, as well as through commission bids placed directly with us. (We will not now be offering phone bids).

REGARDING DELIVERING AND COLLECTING ITEMS. We will also NOT be open for business as usual, therefore we ask that you contact us BY EMAIL ONLY and DO NOT visit the auction gallery.

PAYMENT OF ITEMS. We will only be offering two methods of payment. Either by following the link to our online payment portal (which you will be able to access through the invoice we will email to successful bidders) OR through a direct bank transfer (further details for this method of payment will be available on request from our Accounts Dept).

AFTER THE AUCTION we are looking into the possibility of offering specific dates and times when successful buyers may collect lots. However this will be AFTER the government has lifted the initial restrictions currently in place. THEREFORE we want to ensure you are aware that unless you opt for our delivery and shipping service it may be a considerable time before you are able to collect your items. In fairness to our vendors (and as we will continue to offer a delivery service as an option) we will still require prompt payment of any items won.

OUR IN HOUSE SHIPPING SERVICE will continue to be offered as before.

Many thanks for your understanding and we wish our clients all the very best in these difficult circumstances.

Catalogues for our upcoming auction can be viewed by following one of the links below (approximately 10 days prior to the sales):

Please note our estimates are based largely on the opinion of the cataloguer and take into account any reserves at that time. As they are often prepared well in advance of the sale on few occasions they may be subject to change.

Regarding bids lodged via internet auction sites,

Regarding bidding via bids received via this system attract a charge of 4.95% in addition to the Wallis and Wallis buyer’s premium of 22%. Both these charges attract VAT at the current rate. Including VAT, all bids received through them will therefore attract a total charge of 32.34% on the hammer price.
Bids received via attract a charge of 3% in addition to the Wallis and Wallis buyers premium of 22%, again both subject to VAT. Including VAT, all bids through EasyLive will be subject to 30% on the hammer price. However EasyLive offer the alternative of paying an advance registration fee to them of £3 including VAT per auction instead of their additional 3% commission.
We have adopted the EasyLive system to operate our sales, and, if lots are purchased through, it should be noted that we do not receive the purchaser’s details until after the sale period has concluded, consequently we are unable to clear purchases as promptly as those made through EasyLive.
We still accept bids via Royal Mail, email, or telephone and, in these cases,  the 22% buyers premium (with VAT on the premium only) will be added to the hammer price.
