Highlights from the Spring Connoisseurs’ auction May 2018 (part 1)
The Spring Connoisseur Collectors’ auction was a great success, below are a few of the highlights, (please note all prices are the hammer prices).
whilst a Victorian officer’s bearskin of the 2nd Dragoons (Royal Scots Greys) realised £4,300;
an officer’s sabretache of the Westmoreland Yeomanry realised £1,700
A double barrelled officer’s percussion holster pistol by Beattie, realised £2,600;
Double barrelled over and under pocket pistol by Wilson, £2,000
Dragoon flintlock holster pistol by Farmer, dated 1745, £2,800
