On-line bidding through the-saleroom.com
Lots are available to view at the saleroom before and during the auction. Following customer’s registration with the-saleroom.com bidding is possible in real time through the internet at all our auctions. On-line bidders can hear the auctioneer at the same time as bidders on the floor, while the auctioneer is aware of on-line bids almost as they are made; please do not leave bidding too late as once the hammer is down the lot is sold!
Bidders who have registered with the saleroom can also leave commission bids BEFORE 9a.m. on the day of the sale, and these will be executed on the same basis as our existing postal bids.
Both commission and on-line bids through the-saleroom.com attract a charge of 3% in addition to the Wallis and Wallis buyer’s premium of 20%. Including VAT, all bids placed through www.the-saleroom.com will therefore attract a total charge of 27.6% on the hammer price.
Wallis and Wallis can accept no responsibility for failed internet connections or interruptions which result in failed bids. All other Wallis and Wallis Notices and Conditions apply. We continue to accept telephone bidding by arrangement, and by post, fax and email (please refer to our Important Notices no 27)
