A framed letter to Captain Brereton dated June 5th 1786 giving ‘a small sword’ to their afore mentioned captain as a mark of their respect etc; the regiment seems to have been serving in Dominica (regiment unclear, possibly 30th or 20th Regt), visible letter 19cms x 23cms. Good condition, some age wear, frame chipped.
